What’s Happening in Ave Maria This Weekend: October 23–25

What’s on in Ave Maria this weekend?

Looking for things to do in Ave Maria this weekend, October 23–25, 2026? Ave Maria University’s calendar lists three events: Friday’s Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, Saturday’s home volleyball match against Warner and Sunday’s Marian Prayer Group.

Those are verified calendar listings—not confirmation that every event welcomes walk-in visitors. The available listings do not specify admission prices, registration requirements or public-access policies. The town’s events page returned “No event found,” so there is no verified town-sponsored event to add from that source.

Here’s the useful shortlist, with the details you can plan around and the questions to settle first.

The weekend at a glance

All three appear on the Ave Maria University events calendar. Treat the listed end times as scheduling guidance, and check the individual event details before making firm plans.

Friday: Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Dinner

October 23, 5:30–9 p.m.

The Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Dinner is listed at the Student Union Ballroom. If you follow university athletics or have a connection to the program, this is the Friday event to investigate.

The calendar excerpt gives the event name, venue and time, but it does not establish whether tickets remain available, whether an invitation is required or whether registration is open to the general public.

Before building your evening around it, confirm:

• Whether you are eligible to attend.
• Whether a ticket or advance reservation is required.
• Any arrival instructions or dress guidance from the organizer.

This is not a listing to treat as a casual drop-in dinner without checking first.

Saturday: Home volleyball against Warner

October 24, 2–4 p.m.

For a sports-focused afternoon, the university lists Volleyball HOME – Warner at the Field House Courts.

The afternoon slot leaves room to make your own plans before or after the match. A meal or a little time exploring town could round out the outing, but those would be personal itinerary choices—not additional scheduled events verified for this weekend.

Check spectator admission, any ticket requirements and venue-entry instructions before heading over. The supplied listing does not include a price, so do not assume admission is free.

Sunday: Marian Prayer Group

October 25, 6:30–9 p.m.

The Marian Prayer Group is listed for Sunday evening in Academic Building 1001 – Demetree Lecture Hall.

For readers seeking a faith-centered gathering rather than a sporting event or dinner, this is the relevant weekend listing. However, the calendar excerpt does not describe the format or say whether participation is open to visitors.

Confirm who may attend and whether newcomers need to contact the organizer beforehand. Also note the venue carefully: this listing is for a lecture hall, not the parish church.

What about town events?

The supplied Town of Ave Maria events page returned “No event found.” That does not prove nothing else is happening in town; it means that source did not provide a specific event we could responsibly include.

The town page offers category and date filters, including an “Open to the Public” category. Rechecking those filters is worthwhile if you specifically want a public community event rather than a university listing.

For broader local reading between outings, browse The Ave Rides Guide. Keep the distinction clear: destination inspiration is useful, but it is not a substitute for a dated event listing.

Make the outing easy

AVE RIDES PRO TIP Confirm the exact venue and attendance requirements before arranging transportation. A calendar listing alone does not establish public access, and the three events above use different campus locations.

Once your plans are confirmed, explore Ave Rides transportation options or book a ride. Use the event’s actual venue when arranging your trip, rather than just the university name.

The bottom line: there are three university events listed for this weekend, with Saturday volleyball the option to check for a sports outing. Confirm access first, then build the rest of your weekend around the event that suits you.
